THE VIDEOGUIDE FOR CRUISE TOURISTS IN BERGEN
— WELCOME —
When a cruise tourist arrive at a new port, it is not always easy to get the overview of what to to and see, where to shop or eat. You have to spend some time in front of your visit to plan. It is possible to hop on one of the cruise excursions, but these are in our opinion way to expensive.
To make it easier for all visitors to beautiful and mostly rainy Bergen, we have created these pages. Here we present a lot of information and tips of what to do the few hours you have available. We do this with videos - one clip for each attraction and restaurant - so that you can judge by yourself, if this is the right thing for you to do.
Bergen is the capitol of Western Norway and the gateway to the famous Norwegian fjords. It is the second largest city in Norway with its population of about 280.000. In addition to tourism, Bergen is the shipping capitol of Norway, with many leading ship owner companies. It plays a major role in the Norwegian oil and gas industry and the marine sector. It also is a major student city, which implies a lot of restaurants and bars, but is also known as the host of the 2017 UCI Road World Championships in Cycling in 2017.
Please browse through our videos, and we promise you get some good ideas. Have in mind that we have no obligations to any of the places. Our recommendations are solely based on our own experiences.
